How it started
Rag was always a biker…. Always! When they met 18 years ago he owned a sports bike. Sophie saw her first adventure bike at the age of 9 on a ferry to Denmark, and since then she wanted to ride motorcycle but life did not present an opportunity until Ken came along. Sure enough it didn’t take long for her to get a license and get on two wheels after being a pillion for a couple of years. The two of them have been riding and touring together ever since. However COVID put a stop to those adventures for a year or two.
After the world freed up again and they discovered the Balkans thanks to some local friends, the itching to tour came back. Rag was set on buying a Tiger 1200 and Sophie was keen on making sure it gets used more than just a couple of weeks a year. In the same time Sophie was gaining invites around the globe to do photoshoots and the idea to ride to those photoshoots via motorcycles was born. However, finding dog sitters was becoming harder and harder and let’s face it, it was never ideal to leave the “kids” behind. But if they could take the kids, do they even need to come home?
The idea spiral started and soon a plan was born to set out on a much bigger adventure than they ever thought would be possible. Great, but how do they make this happen? This website is aiming to tell you all about that!
